Dirk van der Velde is the founder of Momentasize Companies. He’s a freedom-loving husband, father, and entrepreneur. The concept of Momentasize was first born in 2019 while Dirk was training for his first 100-mile race. During a run with his good friend and training partner, Matt, he was attempting to explain how running had changed his life. As he struggled to put the feeling into words, he blurted out that it helped him “momentasize” his life. Every difficult run led him into a flow state that helped him in both his personal and professional life to conquer every moment or to... “Momentasize” it. The idea stuck with him, and using this foundational mindset, he went on to create Momentasize Companies in 2021. The Momentasize brand now encompasses a construction, development, and real estate investment company. Dirk and his wife Shai have a huge vision for Momentasize Companies. Their mission is to bring dreams to life through the built environment and share a passion for bringing many minds and hundreds of hands together to bring these dreams into reality. ”We live the growth mindset. About Dirk
Dirk grew up in a small Dutch village named Voorhout where he lived with his parents and two Siblings until he was 14 years old. In 2007, his family moved to Central Oregon where they have resided ever since. Dirk grew up with soccer as his main focus and passion. He had the privilege of playing Division 1 collegiate soccer at Saint Louis University and then transferred to the University of Portland where his team won the WCC Conference Championship his Senior year. Dirk graduated with a Bachelor's Degrees in Business and Entrepreneurship. Once Dirk graduated, he began pouring all of his attention into learning the Real Estate investing game. Having grown up around many successful Real Estate Developers, Dirk has been fortunate enough to be surrounded by wonderful mentors. He was then able to leverage this knowledge to start his own Construction and Development Company in 2021. Since then, Dirk and Momentasize Companies has spearheaded multiple 8-figure Real Estate deals and has grown to encompass an educational platform where Dirk has found true passion in sharing this knowledge with other entrepreneurs. Dirk lives in Central Oregon with his wife Shai and two sons, Chitstiaan and Beo where he strives to live the Momentasize lifestyle day-to-day.
